I’m interested in taking lessons with Jen but don’t know where to start!
All new adult clients should start with booking a 1-Hour Private Assessment either in-person or remotely. Choose from three skills; Full-Swing session, Short game and chipping, or Putting. Once the initial session is complete Jen can assist and offer Coaching Packages options. The initial assessment is vital for client and Coach Jen to learn goals then plan their game improvement, and keep the game enjoyable.
Still not sure which is right for you? Book a free 15-minute consultation!
What is included in a 1-Hour Assessment with Jen?
As a previous athlete herself, Jen believes in a holistic performance approach to fully understand a player’s potential in golf. This means, each player committed to learning a new golf skill, or exploring technical changes in the golf swing will be given immediate changes that can be used right away, paired with recommendations that support long-term learning. Jen utilizes a FullSwing Launch monitor, along with various teaching gear that provides measurable data including video feedback, 3D capture, Speed development and more.
The last 10 minutes of the assessment are spent writing down the key tips and notes to remember, and answer any last minute questions. These notes will be sent to the client through mobile text before they leave the session.
How do I pay for my golf lesson?
All lessons taught at Sunnydale are paid in the Pro shop. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your lesson, and once payment is received you will receive golf balls to take to driving range. Payments accepted are Debit, Mastercard, Visa and Cash.
All Mashies and Remote Online Lessons are paid via Etransfer prior to starting the scheduled lesson
What should I bring to a golf lesson?
Bring your entire golf bag. Golf Club rental are included in the lesson if you do have any yet. Must call the Pro Shop prior to lesson to reserve your right-handed or left-handed golf set. Sunnydale Pro Shop: 250-334-3232
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing including warm layers on cool days, and closed toe shoes such as running shoes or golf shoes. Also arrive hydrated and bring a water bottle.
What’s the difference between an “in-person” lesson versus an “online” lesson?
Both lessons provide players with live in-depth instruction using video analysis. Players who are unable to travel to Sunnydale or Mashies, or need coaching while traveling to tournaments can now work with Jen using her preferred Online Teaching Tools.
“In-person” sessions have access to Jen’s technology such as the FullSwing Launch monitor, 3D capture, and physical assessment tools. The data collected from these tools help any level of player heighten their learning and track performance over time.
Are lessons cancelled if it’s raining?
No, Sunnydale offers a covered driving range that keeps players dry from rain. On-course lessons also continue rain or shine, please call ahead to reserve your complementary power cart for a playing lesson.
